A kid got hiccups during the Aussie national anthem last night, and became an instant hero

He bravely battled on.

HICCUPS ALWAYS strike at the worst possible time. Just ask this young lad.

Seven-year-old Ethan was chosen to sing the Australian national anthem at a baseball game between Brisbane and Adelaide last night. Unfortunately, he got the hiccups just as he was about to sing.

You can see him hesitate a little as the music begins, but he’s not too phased by what’s to come…

And the players soon turn around to look at him…

But absolutely nothing deters him from seeing the national anthem to its finish, and getting a huge round of applause from the crowd. What a trooper. Go on my son!
