Moreover, man-of-the-match Wes Hoolahan was influential, setting up the first two goals and winning the penalty for the third (see below).

Meanwhile, a James McClean brace, one from Hoolahan and a brilliant comedy own goal from the Gibraltar goalkeeper (see above) left the Irish team cruising.
