THE LEOPARDSTOWN CHRISTMAS festival continued today and after punters were forced to brave the elements on St Stephen’s Day, the weather was, although cold, considerably better for racegoers.
Over 13,000 were in attendance on Saturday and there were plenty of familiar faces there to enjoy a day at the races.
President Michael D Higgins was among the punters studying the form book closely
Eamon Dunphy was in attendance, armed with the Racing Post, alongside step-daughter Rosie Gogan-Keogh
Minister for Health Leo Varadkar was well wrapped up
Former Cork football manager Conor Counihan
Stephanie Roche was giving the bookies a helping hand
Although, they didn’t need too much help as it was another lucrative day for the bookmakers
‘Go on, my son!’
There wasn’t the wind and rain of yesterday but plenty of layers were essential
However, this chap had the best view in the house
