The Daily Mail reports that police will follow the FA’s lead by studying footage from 20 cameras in QPR’s 1-0 win over Chelsea at Loftus Road.
Allegations against Terry were made by a member of the public, while Ferdinand has only said publicly that he has “strong feelings” on the matter, without elaborating as to his stance on the issue.
Terry had previously admitted to using a racial expletive, but claims it was said only in the context of his dismissal of racist allegations against him.
