'He'll be the same Scott I know -- going around kicking people!'

Ireland captain Robbie Keane praises his opposite number Scott Brown and talks booing and his Celtic career.

Robbie on… Playing Scotland

These are the games that players want to be involved in. We haven’t had a competitive game like this against a rival for awhile so it’s certainly exciting.

So far it has gone fantastically well but it’s important that we keep that going against a team that is very, very strong and who have a good feeling about themselves at the moment. But we do too.

Robbie on… Booing

Being booed is something that you quite enjoy and knowing Aiden (McGeady) I don’t think it will affect him too much. He will rise to the occasion like he has done for the last few games. He has been here for a few years with Celtic and was a great player for them but I don’t think that affects him too much.

Whatever people say or whether the crowd are going to boo him, I’m sure he will enjoy it.

Robbie on… Competition for places

It’s important for every player and every striker to be scoring goals. It’s only going to help the team. Whoever plays or is called upon, it’s important that they are scoring at club level so they will have confidence going into the game.

When I was here he was brilliant. He wears his heart on his sleeve and gives everything he has for Celtic and his country. That’s clear to see when you see him playing so I’m sure that will be no different tomorrow.

He’ll be the same Scott I know — going around kicking people! He doesn’t get the credit he deserves. He’s a good footballer player who plays but doesn’t mind a tackle. It will be interesting to play against him.

Off the field, he’s a great lad to have around the dressing room and when I was here he was brilliant.

Robbie on… Scoring goals at Celtic Park

Scoring goals when you’re a striker no matter where you are, you get that exciting feeling.

Growing up and watching Celtic, then having the privilege to play here and managing to score a few goals while I was here was extra special so of course it would be nice if that was the case tomorrow.

Robbie on… His fondest memory while at Celtic

Coming from London, getting off that plane and coming to Celtic Park where there were 5,000 people was one of the best feelings you could ever get as a player. Just walking out and putting that green and white jersey on.

From start to finish for me it was just great and I enjoyed every minute of it.
