SEAMUS COLEMAN RETURNED to training today, almost five months after breaking his leg following a horrific challenge from Neil Taylor in a World Cup qualifier against Wales.
The player has stepped up his rehabilitation by working outdoors at Everton’s USM Finch Farm training complex, undergoing running exercises with club medical staff.
Coleman suffered a double fracture following a late challenge from Wales defender Taylor.
The Donegal man was immediately stretchered off with early reports suggesting he would remain out until 2018.
However the 28-year-old is hopeful to be back in action for the Toffees before the end of the year.
