Here's how it stands across Europe's big 5 leagues as the season approaches its climax

Just a few games remain as clubs fight for a Champions League spot among other issues.


BAYERN MUNICH HAVE won their third successive title. In addition, Wolfsburg, Monchengladbach and Bayer Leverkusen have claimed the other three Champions League spots.


Serie A

Juventus claimed a fourth successive Serie A title last weekend. Meanwhile, it seems as if Roma and Lazio will get the final two Champions League spots, with Rafa Benitez’s Napoli (who are also in contention via the Europa League) trailing the latter by four points.

La Liga

Just two points separate Barcelona and Real Madrid as both sides bid to win the title. Meanwhile, Valencia and Sevilla are currently vying for the final Champions League spot, though the latter could also get it by winning the Europa League.

PSG lead Lyon by three points, with three matches remaining. Furthermore, Monaco, Saint-Etienne and Marseille are all in contention for the final Champions League spot.

Chelsea are champions, while United and Liverpool are set to battle it out for the final Champions League place.
