ULSTER kicked off their Heineken Cup campaign in some style, running out 30-6 winners over Aironi in front of 7,777 at Ravenhill. The hosts even earned their bonus point for four tries, with efforts from Simon Danielli, Andrew Trimble, Ruan Pienaar and Ian Humphreys – who converted two of the four. Ruan Pienaar slotted two penalties, while the visitors were restricted to two penalties from Ludovic Mercier.
