'Jordan football...the future is good': Harry's interview after first win is brilliantly awkward

There wasn’t much banter to be had for the veteran manager.

IT’S GOOD TO have Harry Redknapp back in management.

It was only revealed last week that the former Tottenham boss was set to take over as Jordan coach for a couple of World Cup qualifiers.

His stint in charge began brightly with an 8-0 thrashing of Bangladesh and despite the fact that there’s a much more important game to come against Australia next Tuesday, he was in jovial spirits at full-time.

He was so relaxed that he didn’t bat an eyelid when a local reporter approached and asked for some comments on how he thought the game went.

Cue some major linguistic problems, lots of awkwardness and Harry channeling his inner Joey Barton by thinking that a fake accent would help.
