JAMIE CARRAGHER AND Gary Neville had some stark advice for Raheem Sterling last night, and as is often the case with Monday Night Football, it made for brilliant TV.
The latest reports suggest the youngster is intent on leaving Liverpool at the end of the season, but both Sky pundits were of the opinion that a move now would not be in Sterling’s best interests ultimately.
Carragher suggested Sterling should get a new agent and claimed if he was in the player’s situation, he’d be embarrassed going in to training the next day.
Neville, meanwhile, emphasised that Sterling was still a “kid,” while suggesting that Liverpool may want to reconsider their approach for future contract negotiations, given the similar problems they encountered with Steven Gerrard earlier in the year.
