O'Neill names team for first league game with Kildare as Harte selects four Tyrone debutants

Kildare travel to Westmeath on Sunday while Tyrone are at home to Cavan.

NEW KILDARE BOSS Cian O’Neill has unveiled his side for his first league game in charge when they travel to Mullingar on Sunday.

There are only seven survivors from the Kildare side that were heavily defeated by Kerry in last August’s All-Ireland quarter-final.

Goalkeeper Mark Donnellan, defensive duo Ollie Lyons and Ciarán Fitzpatrick, and the attacking quartet of Eoghan O’Flaherty, Paul Cribbin, Niall Kelly and Cathal McNally are the players in question.

Throw-in on Sunday in Cusack Park is 2pm.

Tyrone boss Mickey Harte has handed out four league debuts for their Division 2 opener on Sunday against Cavan.

Goalkeeper Michael O’Neill, wing-back Niall Sludden, wing-forward Conor Meyler and corner-forward Lee Brennan are the players in question.
