IT’S NOT A name that holds too many fond memories for English football, but they had plenty of reason to celebrate in Lansdowne last night.

Ottawa’s Lansdowne Stadium was the venue as the Three Lionesses beat Norway to book their place in the Women’s World Cup quarter-finals.

England came from a goal down to win 2-1 and set up a showdown with hosts Canada in the early hours of Sunday morning (00.30 Irish).

Their winner, scored by Lucy Bronze in the 76th minute, was one hell of a strike:
