Oh balls!

Mourinho even had a pop at the Leicester ballboys last night

Ballboys were a “disgrace” in Leicester’s 2-1 win, blasts Mourinho.

JOSE MOURINHO HAS criticised Leicester City’s ballboys after his Chelsea side fell to their ninth defeat of the season at the King Power Stadium last night.

The Blues were beaten 2-1 by the Foxes as their horrendous season took another poor turn, with the champions now only a point above the relegation zone after 16 games.

Jamie Vardy and Riyad Mahrez both found the net for Claudio Ranieri’s men, while Loic Remy’s late header proved little more than a consolation for the Blues.

Mourinho admitted after the defeat that the Foxes deserved their victory, but also criticised the tactics of the ballboys, insisting that their behaviour was deplorable.

“[Leicester] fought with everything, they defended with everything, and the ballboys were amazing too,” he told Chelsea’s official website.

I say the point about the ballboys because it’s a disgrace for the Premier League, but I want to make it clear I don’t want that story to be in front of a result Leicester deserved.

The Blues now languish 14 points behind the top four and Mourinho has accepted that qualification for the Champions League is beyond his players, while he also hit out at his charges following yet another loss.
