Tyrone legend Mulligan set to transfer to former London champions for coming season

The 35-year-old Cookstown forward is expected to link up with Fulham Irish.

THREE-TIME TYRONE All-Ireland winner Owen Mulligan is set to transfer to London GAA club Fulham Irish for the coming season.

The former Red Hand star is switching to the London side as he is moving to the English capital for work, as first reported by Team Talk Mag.

The42 has since confirmed news of the 35-year-old’s planned transfer to the 2011 London champions, whose bid to claim honours in 2016 will no doubt be greatly aided by the arrival of the Cookstown forward.

An All-Star winner in 2005, the same year he scored a goal for the ages against the Dubs in an All-Ireland quarter-final replay, Mulligan’s inter-county career came to an end in 2012 in a 10-point qualifier defeat to Kerry in Killarney.
