Sean O’Mahony’s (Louth) 1-5

OFFALY SIDE RHODE will meet St Vincent’s in the Leinster SFC final after a hard-fought victory over Sean O’Mahony’s of Louth today.

Niall McNamee was key to his team’s success as he registered eight of their 12 points in Drogheda this afternoon.

A closely fought first half saw Rhode claim a 0-5 to 0-2 lead at the break.

Both Glen O’Connell and Stephen Fisher missed penalties for their respective teams, before the latter scored with his second attempt from the spot to give the Louth side hope late on.

However, it proved too little too late, as Rhode held on to for a four-point win.

Paschal Kellaghan’s side will now face St Vincent’s on 11 December in the final.
