ST JUDES COMFORTABLY overcame St Marys in their Dublin SFC game at Bohernabreena tonight, winning 3-20 to 0-8.
The game was all but over by half-time, as St Judes stormed into a 1-12 to 0-3 lead, before adding to their considerable winning margin after the break.
In another one-sided affair, Plunketts beat Peregrines 5-15 to 0-9 at Russell Park.
Goals from Bernard (the first of which came after less than a minute) and Paul Brogan helped inspired their side to an emphatic victory.
However, the game between Skerries and O’Tooles was closer, with the former eventually winning 1-15 to 1-9.
Skerries were cruising as they powered into a 1-8 to 0-2 lead, but their rivals fought back, making the score 1-9 to 1-5 at the break.
Nevertheless, despite their opponents’ belated improvement, Skerries ultimately held on for a six-point win.
