LIMERICK HAVE ADDED to their defensive options by signing Tommy Robson on loan from Sunderland.
The 21-year-old came through the ranks at the Black Cats and made his Premier League debut in a 2-2 draw with Watford last season.
Sunderland’s manager at the time was Sam Allardyce, who was in charge of the Super Blues as player-manager in the early ’90s.
Robson comes into Martin Russell’s squad as they prepare to make their SSE Airtricity League Premier Division return at home to Sligo Rovers this Friday.
