Confirmed: Showjumper Lynch to appeal exclusion from Olympics
Updated at 19.54
DENIS LYNCH WILL appeal his exclusion from the Olympic Games, it has been confirmed.
The showjumper was controversially replaced on the Irish team by Cian O’Connor recently, after his horse tested positive for hypersensitivity.
And this evening, it was confirmed that Lynch has submitted an appeal to the Court of Arbitration for Sport.
Lynch previously criticised Horse Sport Ireland in the wake of the decision to drop him from the team.
