RESULT: Dublin 4-16 Kildare 1-9

It’s just under an hour to throw-in as the Dubs face the Lilywhites with a place in the Leinster senior football final on offer.

Here’s the Dublin team that is named to start this afternoon as they seek to build on their victory over Westmeath. We’ll let you know of any late changes.

The Dublin fans are beginning to stream into Croke Park. Half an hour to throw in.

So Meath are in the Leinster final but who will join them? Dublin and Kildare are already out on the pitch warming up for this second semi-final.

There’s speculation about pre-match changes in the offing for Kildare, we’ll let you know when we hear of them.

It’s starting to rain heavily in Croke Park. Conditions look like they’re going to be difficult here.

Kildare 1-2 Dublin 0-0: 8 mins – Now Brophy grabs a point with a neat close-range shot for Kildare.

Kildare 1-2 Dublin 1-0: 9 mins – Dublin hit back with Paul Mannion slamming the ball to the net after being fed by Diarmuid Connolly.

Super long-range effort from Niall Kelly for Kildare but his shot smacks against the upright and goes wide.

Dublin still two points ahead with 27 minutes on the clock.

Dublin 1-7 Kildare 1-4: 29 mins – Paddy Andrews points for Dublin with a lofted effort moments after Bernard Brogan saw his goal bound drive blocked by Kildare’s Shane Connolly. Jack McCaffrey had made a lighting dart forward to create that chance for Brogan.

Good save by Stephen Cluxton in the Dublin goal to stop a goal bound shot by Kildare’s Niall Kelly.
