Everton leave White Hart lane with a point

TOTTENHAM AND EVERTON have played out an entertaining 1-1 draw at White Hart Lane – bringing Everton back into top half of the table for the first time this season, cementing their recovery after a dreadful start. Leighton Baines opened the scoring with a terrific free kick for the visitors before Rafael van der Vaart capped a flowing team move to equalise for the home side before half-time. The result means Tottenham, who stay third, lose ground on leaders Chelsea and Man City.
