In pics: Ireland get out of the Tokyo heat with a pool session
AFTER COMPLETING THE 14-hour trip from New York to Tokyo, Ireland are settling into their new surroundings ahead of Saturday’s first Test against Japan.
Joe Schmidt’s side touched down in the Japanese capital on Monday and will return to the training paddock on Thursday in preparation for the second game of their summer tour at the Ecopa Stadium.
The squad hit the gym yesterday for a ‘light’ workout as part of their recovery routine and then spent some time in the hotel’s pool to soothe those aching muscles.
