Also, the latest on Felipe Anderson’s potential move from Lazio to Man United.

Updated at 17.35

Bayern target Darmian: Bayern Munich have been alerted to the news that Matteo Darmian is unhappy at Man United, with the Germans thought to be considering a move for the Italian full back.

Anderson’s agent: In other Man United-related news, the Red Devils are believed to have met with the agent of Felipe Anderson, while Lazio coach Stefano Pioli criticised the star, who was substituted at half-time of a scoreless stalemate with promoted Carpi on Wednesday. ”I believe he can do a lot more. I know it and he knows it,” Pioli said.

Penchant for Pennant: Jermaine Pennant arrived in Singapore on Thursday to try his luck in the lowly S.League as he approaches the tail-end of what was once one of the game’s most promising careers. Signed by Arsenal at 15 for £2million, at 32, he has flown in for a trial with Tampines Rovers.

Kirchhoff off to Sunderland: Bayern Munich defender Jan Kirchhoff is reportedly on the verge of joining Sunderland, with the 25-year-old in England for a medical.

Palace want Redmond: Crystal Palace will have to pay in the region of £15 million if they want to follow through on their interest in Norwich winger Nathan Redmond.

Ilie Dumitrescu joins Tottenham

Impressed by his performance at the 1994 World Cup, Tottenham signed Ilie Dumitrescu for £2.6 million from Steaua Bucureşti.

The Romanian international came along with fellow World Cup stars Jurgen Klinsmann and Gheorghe Popescu amid much fanfare.

However, partially owing to the limited success of manager Ossie Ardilles’ ultra-attacking philosophy, Dumitrescu fell out of favour and left Spurs after four goals and just 18 appearances.

He had similarly brief spells at Sevilla (loan) and Harry Redknapp’s West Ham, as well as in Mexico with Club América and Atlante, before returning to Steaua and retiring at the age of just 29. He has since coached a number of teams, including a short spell back once again at his beloved Steaua in 2010.
