LEINSTER FORWARD SEÁN O’BRIEN has been cleared of an eye-gouging claim against Enrico Pavanello of Benetton Treviso during last weekend’s loss in the Magners League. O’Brien had been accused of deliberately gouging Pavanello while attempting to pull off his scrum cap; a disciplinary panel has ruled there was no malice intended.
