TONIGHT’S LEAGUE OF Ireland Men’s Premier Division clashes between Shelbourne and Shamrock Rovers, and St Patrick’s Athletic and Galway United, have been postponed.

Tolka Park and Richmond Park underwent pitch inspections after heavy rainfall in Dublin, and both were deemed unplayable.

Hosts Shelbourne and St Pat’s say new details for the fixtures will be announced in due course, with purchased tickets valid for the rescheduled games.

Champions Rovers are sidelined for the second successive week after their opener against Dundalk at Tallaght Stadium was postponed last Friday.

Drogheda United versus Waterford will go ahead after Sullivan & Lambe Park passed a pitch inspection this afternoon.

It will now kick off at 8pm and be shown live on Virgin Media Two following the Shelbourne-Rovers postponement.

Derry City host Dundalk in tonight’s other Premier Division game, as the First Division also gets underway across the country.
