McIlroy one off the lead at windswept Deutsche Bank championship

THE DEUTSCHE BANK CHAMPIONSHIP – the second playoff of the FedEx Cup series – has been significantly hampered by weather delays as a result of Hurricane Earl, but that’s not bothering Rory McIlroy. The Irishman is one off the lead, shooting a seven-under 64 alongside England’s Brian Davis to trail Jason Day and Zach Johnson by a single shot after round one.
