Seattle and Shelbyville obviously have a lot in common.

This Seahawks player must be from Shelbyville because he has a weird view of his cousins

Michael Bennett needs to find a better analogy to describe the opposition.

THE SEATTLE SEAHAWKS host the Carolina Panthers in the NFC divisional round this weekend, which is the equivalent of the Super Bowl quarter-finals.

Naturally both sides have been doing a lot of media work this week, so you could put this answer from Seahawks defender Michael Bennett down to question fatigue.

Bennett tried to explain how much the Seahawks and Panthers are alike but instead he probably terrified all of his cousins and any of their friends.

“It’s so much alike, man,” Bennett said to the HeraldNet website.

“It’s like you look at a girl who looks like you, and you find out it’s your cousin, so you can’t go on a date with her even though you’d like to, because she looks like you. But then you see her friend, and her friend’s really hot, and you’re like, ‘that’s not my cousin,’ so it’s good.”

‘Even though you’d like to because she looks like you’. Do a lot of men dream about going out with a girl who looks exactly like themselves? I thought that was our greatest fear.

The last time such strange sentiments were expressed about cousins was when the founder of Shelbyville wanted to be able to marry his relations in The Simpsons.

Those Shelbyvillians liked turnip juice too though, so they were obviously heathens.
