PADRAIC ‘PODGE’ COLLINS will look to complete a memorable weekend, as he lines out for Clare’s hurlers in their crucial All-Ireland SHC quarter-final with Galway in Semple Stadium tomorrow.
Collins will take to the field for the hurlers tomorrow less than 24 hours after having helped the footballers earn a historic victory over Roscommon to seal a place in the All-Ireland SFC quarter-final, appearing as a 47th-minute substitute in his father’s team’s triumph.
In all, the side are unchanged from the starting XV that beat Limerick.
Clare management hope to have boss Davy Fitzgerald on the sideline after he was admitted to a hospital in Dublin following a health concern during the week.
