FORMER LEAGUE OF Ireland crowd favourite Paddy McCourt has signed for Brighton and Hove Albion.
The Derry native joins ex Liverpool defender Sami Hyypia on England’s south coast.
“We have seen enough of Paddy in the last week or so to know that he is a player who has quality going forward; he is the type of player who can pick a pass and create a chance,” Hyypia says.
The 30-year-old McCourt has played for Barnsley and Celtic as well as Shamrock Rovers and the Canystripes.
