PÁDRAIG HARRINGTON WON his third US Senior Open after a brilliant performance at Scioto Country Club in Columbus, Ohio.
The Irishman went into the final round one shot off the lead, and finished with a four-shot victory after a superb final round of 66 to leave him on 12-under.
Harrington previously won the tournament in 2022 and 2025 and is now just the fourth player to defend the US Senior Open.

The Dubliner also joins the late Miller Barber as the only player to triumph at the event three times.
Stuart Cink took second on eight under after a final-round 71.
Darren Clarke finished tied for eighth on three under after carding a 70 in his final round, while fellow Northern Irishman Chris Devlin was tied for 17th after finishing on even par.
Birdies on the first, second, sixth, eighth and 11th holes were enough for Harrington to prevail, with a bogey on the fifth proving immaterial, as Cink failed to emulate the brilliant form that saw him take a one-shot lead going into the final day.
“When I came out here four years ago I was surprised how big a tournament it was, it’s like playing an old major,” Harrington told the USGA after his success.
“It’s very rare for me to win a tournament where it is actually boring coming down the stretch; normally there is some drama, but there wasn’t much excitement today, which is nice for me.”
It is Harrington’s fourth major at senior level overall, having also won the Open Championship last year.
During his stellar playing career, the 54-year-old won the Open Championship in 2007 and 2008, the year he also won the PGA Championship.
