Senna, 34, died following a racing accident at Imola 20 years ago today.

TRIBUTES ARE BEING paid today to the Brazilian Formula 1 legend Ayrton Senna on the 20th anniversary of his tragic death.

Sennaโ€™s hometown football Corinthians marked the occasion in their own unique way last night, donning replicas of his signature yellow helmet before their match against National AM.

Senna was killed aged 34 in a racing accident during the San Marino Grand Prix on 1 May 1994.

Another driver, 33-year-old Roland Ratzenberger, died in a crash during qualifying the previous day.
