Deja vu: United top football rich list again

It is the eight year in a row that the club have earned this status.

MAN UNITED HAVE topped a list of football’s richest clubs for the eight consecutive year, it has been announced.

According to the list, compiled by Forbes Magazine, their current value stands at approximately £1.39billion.

Real Madrid and Barcelona are in second and third position respectively, while Man City surprisingly only occupy 11th position in the list.

It also reveals that United, with a fanbase of 330m, secured £103.5m in in commercial revenue alone last season.

Real Madrid though, are closing in on their rivals, having received a $59 million payout for reaching the semi-final of last year’s Champions League.
