THERE IT IS, the 2016 European Championships are in the bag and we can all agree, despite some initial fears, that expanding the competition to 24 teams was a good thing, primarily because it meant we got even more punditry.
This tournament saw the emergence of new stars — we’re looking at you Slaven Bilić and Gianluca Vialli — but was also tinged with sadness as we said goodbye to ‘Senior Analyst’ Johnny Giles.
