GARY SICE SCORED one of the goals of the championship so far at the end of an absorbing first-half between Galway and Mayo.
Sice collected the ball 40 yards out and then jinked his way back inside Tom Parsons, leaving the off-balance Mayo midfielder flat on his backside.
The Corofin man finished in style, arrowing his shot across David Clarke and giving the goalkeeper no chance.
It’s Galway 1-5 Mayo 0-8 at the break.
