Miami quarterback misses just one play after taking a massive hit to the head

Matt Moore was evaluated on the sidelines.

MIAMI DOLPHINS QUARTERBACK Matt Moore missed just one play of their AFC Wild Card game with the Pittsburgh Steelers today, despite taking this huge helmet-to-helmet hit.

Moore was illegally tackled by Bud Dupree and the Steelers linebacker drew a 15-yard penalty for roughing the passer.

After being assessed by an independent neurologist on the sideline, Moore missed just one play and returned to the game to set his team up for a field goal.

However, that’s not to say he’ll finish the game:

Moore had taken over the starting role as Ryan Tannehill continues to recover from sprained knee ligaments.
