It's Aaron Rodgers' world and we're all just living in it

The Green Bay Packers quarterback once again defied superlatives.

MASON CROSBY KICKED a last-second field goal as the Green Bay Packers downed the Dallas Cowboys 34-31 in an instant classic NFL playoff battle on Sunday.

Crosby held his nerve to kick the winning score from 51 yards as the clock hit double zeros, the final plot twist in an epic battle in AT&T Stadium.

However, it will be Green Bay quarterback Aaron Rodgers who will draw all the plaudits following yet another brilliant performance.

After throwing four touchdowns, Rodgers saved his best for last with a 43-yard, 32-second drive that included this virtually impossible pass and catch to Jared Cook to set up the game-winning kick with just three seconds left on the clock:

The pass was a dagger to the heart for the Cowboys who must have felt the game was going to overtime when rookie Dak Prescott led a 15-point Cowboys comeback, culminating in a 52-yard Dan Bailey field goal with 44 seconds left.

But then Rodgers showed he is a different class.

Green Bay will now play the Atlanta Falcons next Sunday in the National Football Conference Championship game for a place in the 5 February Super Bowl in Houston.
