THANK GAA IT’S Friday will air a Christmas special on St Stephen’s Day, which features Kilkenny star Richie Hogan on his recent trip to Crumlin Hospital.
The 2014 Hurler of the Year, who spent six weeks there as a child while suffering from Ataxia, was well-received by the patients he visited and even accepted a request from one boy to wear a Dublin jersey.
