DAVID BECKHAM HAS an American swansong to remember as the 37-year-old former England captain helped the LA Galaxy to a 3-1 MLS Cup final victory over Houston Dynamo on Saturday.
Calen Carr had given Houston a 1-0 lead just before the half-time break, before Omar Gonzalez headed the Galaxy level on 60 minutes.
Five minutes, Landon Donovan gave his side a 2-1 lead and Robbie Keane earned, and scored, a penalty to seal the title in injury time.
