A DELEGATION REPRESENTING 74 National Sports Governing Bodies recently met with Leo Varadkar TD, Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport and Michael Ring TD, Minister of State for Tourism and Sport.
The delegation is concerned at a recent announcement indicating significant cuts would be made to the Irish sporting industry.
The amount invested in sport this year currently stands at €86.4 million, in contrast with €141.83 million in 2008.
