Early scoring chances for both sides, Peter Cooke and Shane Walsh for Galway, Jordan Morris kicks wide for Meath. 

6 mins - Shane Walsh’s effort from a ’45 into the Hill 16 end tails to the left and wide. Earlier John Maher’s fisted attempt for Galway had been deflected out. Still scoreless in Croke Park.
