THE SONS of famous footballers often struggle to live up to expectations, but 15-year-old Timothy Weah has certainly been showing some promise of late.
The son of former PSG, Milan and Chelsea striker George Weah, there were shades of his father’s goalscoring instincts as Timothy scored five goals in PSG U17s’ 13-0 thrashing of Shanghai Shenhua.
Whether or not he goes on to be a top footballer remains to be seen, but the early signs seem positive.
