LAOIS MAN EDDIE Kinsella has been appointed to referee next Saturday’s All-Ireland semi-final replay between Dublin and Mayo.

The Courtwood club man will be officiating in Croke Park for the replay after the sides finished all square yesterday.

Referee Joe McQuillan was under the microscope yesterday as he tried to keep a rein on a tempestuous encounter.

Diarmuid Connolly was sent-off while Cavan referee McQuillan also showed two black cards and six yellow cards in a game that frequently boiled over.
