Poll: How many points will Ireland get from their final two qualifiers?

Giovanni Trapattoni’s side have two vital games ahead of them, that will likely make or break their qualiying campaign. Let us know how you think they’ll fare.

WHILE IRISH EYES may be forgiven for focusing their attention 0n the pivotal match between Slovakia and Russia tomorrow evening, it’s easy to forget that the upcoming games involving Giovanni Trapattoni’s men are far from a foregone conclusion.

While anything but three points is unthinkable tomorrow, against an Andorran team that have only ever won one competitive fixture in international football, Tuesday’s game with Armenia is likely to be a far sterner test.

Although Ireland managed a hard-earned 1-0 win away to their opponents just over a year ago, Armenia have seemingly improved since then, as was demonstrated by their morale-boosting 4-0 win away to Slovakia – the team that Ireland, in contrast, have played twice and failed to beat on both occasions.

The Armenia-Slovakia game was just one of a number of surprise results in the group so far – results that have meant a number of outcomes are still possible in Group B, with four of the teams still in with a chance of qualifying for the European Championships this summer.

So we want to know what you think. Will Ireland give themselves the best possible chance of automatically advancing by winning these games? Or will they stoop to unprecedented lows by losing both ties?

How many points will Ireland secure from their next two Euro 2012 qualifying matches?
