Titus Bramble charged with sexual assault, urinating in public

The Sunderland defender’s lawyer has said he will “vigorously contest” the allegations.

SUNDERLAND’S TITUS BRAMBLE has been charged with two counts of sexual assault and urinating in public.

The player’s lawyer has said he plans to “vigorously contest” the charges.

The 30-year-old will appear in court on November 10 after he was arrested last month following the accusations.

He had previously been arrested in September and was alleged to have been found in possession of a Class A drug.

However, it has been announced that there will now be no charges relating to the Class A drug accusation.

The player was initially charged in conjunction with his brother Tesfaye, who was jailed for four and a half years in August after being found guilty of rape.

He has made over 200 Premier League appearances over the course of his career, playing for a number of clubs including Ipswich and Newcastle.

Bramble has been suspended by his club Sunderland since his arrest second arrest.
