DJ Carey remanded in custody pending sentencing on Monday for fraud charges
Judge Martin Nolan said a custodial sentence was inevitable.
The 54-year-old pleaded guilty to ten counts of dishonestly inducing people to pay him money after he fraudulently claimed to have cancer.
The court heard that Carey has not repaid over €125,000 that he received from billionaire Denis O'Brien.
